Once you receive your letter of acceptance from ABM College, you will need it to obtain your study permit / visa and other travel documentation.
To obtain your study permit and/or your temporary resident visa, you must visit the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.** Please see important note below.
You will need to make your own arrangements for travel to and within Canada, including your living accommodations, transportation, arrival, and other important logistics.
If you require assistance with any of the above items, please contact the International Student Coordinator at ABM College.
**Important notice from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada / Immigration Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada:
Since July 31, 2018, you may need to give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) when you apply for a Canadian study permit if you are from Europe, the Middle East or Africa. Find out if these changes apply to you. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reminds international students to prepare for their trip to study in Canada by reviewing Canada’s entry requirements and applying as soon as possible for their study permit.
