A Mother is a treasure which no one can replace. This Mother’s Day, we are featuring ABM College supermoms who are not only working here as employees but are also great mothers. We sat down with a few of them and asked how they manage the balance between their jobs and their kids. Being a mom is a 24/7 job, and sometimes their hard work does not get noticed and appreciated. Always appreciate your mother and the work she does for you.
Let’s hear what ABM mothers have to say about their work, like and motherhood. Different moms with different viewpoints with different questions. Let’s hear what they have to say this Mother’s Day.

What’s the biggest challenge of balancing motherhood with your work, and how do you overcome it?
The biggest challenge of balancing motherhood is finding enough time for both my work and family. I overcome it by setting clear priorities, staying organized, being present in the moment, whether at work or with my kid and giving my 100% to both. Most importantly, I need to remind myself that progress is the key, not perfection, and that is what matters most. By focusing on what truly matters and setting realistic expectations, I can ensure that I am giving my best to both my family and my work.”
She further added, “Today, I am a proud mom, and it’s all because of my mother. She taught me the values, and with her teachings, I am here today, able to manage my work life and home perfectly. Lastly, I would like to add, keep on learning; your learning should never stop. With every new learning, you adopt something new, and with that, you can grow every day, whether it’s your job or at work.

What advice would you give other moms considering returning to school or starting a new career?
My advice for moms considering returning to school or starting a new career is to believe in your ability to adapt and grow. Juggling family, studies, and work may be challenging, but it’s also deeply rewarding.”
“Your ambitions matter, not just for you, but for your children who get to watch you grow. When you pursue your dreams, you’re teaching your children to pursue theirs. One day, they’ll tell the story of how their mom chased her dreams, even when it was hard. Your journey becomes part of their legacy. Start small, celebrate every milestone, and remember — you don’t have to do it all at once. Seek support, lean on your community, and trust that every step forward, no matter how small, is progress worth celebrating.

What’s one thing your kid has taught you about resilience or determination?
One of the most profound lessons my son has taught me about resilience is that progress often comes through persistence, not perfection. Watching him tackle challenges—whether it’s mastering a new skill, overcoming a setback in school, or simply trying again after disappointment—has reminded me that growth happens in small, determined steps.”
“As an employee, it’s reinforced my belief in the power of patience and encouragement, both at home and in the workplace. His fearless approach to learning inspires me daily to embrace challenges with the same curiosity and grit. It’s a beautiful reminder that resilience isn’t about never falling but rising every time with renewed determination.
Nominated Mothers
Here we go with our nominated mothers. Proud moms who are nominated by their kids or they nominated themselves because they are super moms. Let’s hear what Maria Patricia Perez from the MOA & Unit Clerk program has to say: “I’m nominating myself as a Super Mom for this Mother’s Day because I’m graduating on May 20 with an Academic Distinction Award. As a single mom, it hasn’t been easy to balance school and parenting, but I made it through.
