Recognizing the transformative power of wellness, she envisioned a day dedicated to raising awareness about physical and mental well-being.
Belgin’s goal was to encourage individuals, communities, and organizations to pause, reflect, and prioritize their health. Her guiding principle – “One day can change your whole life” – became the foundation of the movement. With support from the Turkish Ministry of Health, she launched the first Global Wellness Day, creating a platform for people worldwide to embrace healthier habits and sustainable well-being.
