This software is essential for efficiently managing patient prescriptions, inventory control, medication dispensing, and pharmacy operations. Students will gain hands-on experience with Kroll's key features, including prescription management, drug information, patient profiles, and reporting tools, enabling them to support pharmacists in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The course will cover the basics of navigating the Kroll interface, creating and processing prescriptions, updating patient records, managing drug inventory, and generating reports.

This course is designed to introduce pharmacy assistant students to essential Microsoft Office applications, equipping them with the computer skills necessary to succeed in modern pharmacy practice. Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, are critical for managing pharmacy records, communicating with patients and healthcare professionals, and organizing data efficiently. Students will learn how to create professional documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails, and how to use these tools to improve workflow in the pharmacy environment.

Students work with a professional career counsellor to develop and optimize a professional resume to put forward for employers. Additional support in job searching, interview techniques, and other career transition skills are offered to ensure students have the best possible work prospects.
