very woman has the right to live a gender-balanced life. We must create a world where women have the same opportunities as men. We must support and empower women to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. We must create an inclusive environment for all genders. Imagine a gender-equal world with no stereotypes.
It’s right to say we all should come together to make this happen by creating an inclusive society and atmosphere of respect and acceptance for all genders. It’s high time to create a brighter future for the generations to come.
Every year we celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, and this year the theme for the day is #InspireInclusion. Everyone should be allowed to succeed regardless of their gender. We must work together to create a world where everyone is respected, valued, and heard.
March is also considered Women’s History Month. It’s the time to appreciate the achievements and the contributions of women throughout history and in contemporary society. This month is a reminder of the significance of gender equality, empowerment, and the continuous struggle for women's rights. Let us persist in acknowledging and elevating the varied voices and experiences of women, amplifying their narratives, and advocating for a future that is inclusive and fair for everyone.

I always wanted to become an instructor to share my wealth of knowledge and experiences about teaching! I am dedicated and committed to providing quality learning experiences to all my students. I wanted to empower my students to have a growth mindset and never stop learning. Being a teaching staff of educational institutions, I always demonstrate to teach students with compassion and be the source of inspiration. It is my greatest achievement to see all students succeed in life - both personally and professionally.”
Who is the superwoman who inspired you in your life and why?
I am always inspired by the work of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I really admire her unselfish love and kindness to others. “Do good. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.” As I design my curricular programming and facilitate learning activities, I always intend to inculcate the attitude of gratitude. I always remind my students to be more grateful and celebrate the beauty of life. Through this pathway, my students will be able to gain new insights, broaden their perspectives, and express themselves graciously. My students will be more confident to keep on moving forward with resiliency and tenacity, to maximize their full potentials, and ultimately uplift their inner motivation and spirits to be more positive and productive citizens!
As Mother Teresa of Calcutta said: “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.” With these teachings in my heart and mind, I always make sure that everyone will feel valued, respected, and honoured for who they are. As an educator, it is my greatest harvest to witness my students fulfill their goals and become the best version of themselves.

Moving further, we spoke to Michael Pillagara, a Pharmacy Assistant Student from Calgary, Alberta. When asked about who the superwoman who inspired him was, he replied, “My mom is my superwoman and she is my biggest inspiration that is why I’m striving. I can’t see myself growing without her.”
This reminds us of the saying by George Washington, which remains true for many, “My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her.”
Who are the inspirational female role models in your life? At ABM College, asked students, instructors and employees to share their stories about women who have inspired them and how they have motivated them to reach their own goals. This day was a reminder of the importance of empowering women and inspiring them to reach their potential.
Women play different roles in every walk of life and honouring them with little gestures of appreciating them boosts them to stand strong in society and face all the challenges.
According to Anitab, over the last five years, there was a gradual increase in the representation of women in the tech industry, with a notable 2.1% decrease in 2021. In 2020, women accounted for 28.8% of the tech workforce, which dropped to 26.7% in 2021. However, the percentage began to increase again in 2022, and is expected to continue as more women get involved in the technology sector.
Every woman in your life plays an important role, and respecting them is a necessary thing. No one has the right to demean or defame any woman. No matter what, you have to understand that they are the pillars of our lives and superheroes who not only manage their personal lives at home, but also excel in different fields, especially their work life. When we encourage others to appreciate and recognize the importance of women's inclusion, we contribute to creating a more positive world. At ABM College we always respect the women working and studying here by recognizing their vital contributions and unwavering strength.
