What Is Immigration Law?

    Immigration law refers to national government policies to control immigration to a particular country. Immigration laws vary from country to country. Certain countries may have strict laws which regulate both the right on entry and internal rights, such as the duration of stay and the right to participate in government. Most countries have laws which have a process by which immigrants may become citizens of that particular country.
